What People's Say About Place

a cute place for izakaya style small dishes. the menu is quite small and so is inside. the soft shell crab special was pretty good, but nothing special. i’d say opt for the tako obo (octopus pancake) or handrolls over it. you do have the option to have the crab in a handroll, though we didn’t get it. the chicken nanban was also good, but i wish the sauce was on the side and not poured over. the tako obo was my favorite. the portions are all on the smaller side and the pancake wasn’t too large either.

Best ramen in the city. I repeat, best ramen in the city. While people were ordering next to me I had the urge to shout at them “GET THE RAMEN.” The broth is cooked to perfection, I don’t even like pork but the pork in this ramen tastes so good. The best part is it feels SO light, I finished the whole bowl and did not feel grossly full after. This place is a greatly kept secret for sure, do not be fooled if it does not have crowds because people just don’t know about this spot yet. The service here is also very kind and make you feel like a guest in their home. Note they don’t take Apple pay and credit card must have $25 or more

If escaping to Japan to find their hidden gems from shows like Midnight Diner on Netflix? This place is that. From the food, the service and atmosphere, I tend to like to sit at the bar so I can have a front row seat on a good adventure. From the chef to the waitstaff I felt welcome. Definitely a must go to spot for authentic Japanese bar food with a focus on quality and presentation! #Japan #izakaya #goodfood

Perfect and rich tonkatsu ramen here! But need more protein for food come out! Will be back try other dishes! Ty

Amazing hakata ramen and small plates. Good vibes. Pork broth is rich, chef from Japan who used to have a ramen shop in fukuoka. Get the chicken nanban and hakata ramen. Shishito chips, spicy popcorn shrimp and wings great too.

BESTEST Ramen in the US period!! Broth is so rich and flavorful and yet not too heavy or salty. Rockmeisha has been my husband's favorite ramen place for many years (even before they closed during COVID and reopened) and when he first took me to this place last year, I was completely blown away! We also looove their appetizers. In particular, soft shell crab is a must. Also staff members are so friendly and funny. When you are craving good ramen and Japanese appetizers, look no further and please pay a visit to Rockmeisha. You won't regret it! :)

I recently learned that Rockmeisha reopened on the east side so I had to stop in… it was just like walking back into your home after a long vacation. The menu changed a little but everything was still so delicious and everyone there is so welcoming! I will once again be a regular!
